Got the idea for this shot from DPS's (Digital Photography School) Weekend Photography Challenge: Shoes. Not sure if I'll actually enter it as I've never figured out how to upload images to their boards, but regardless, this is my 'shoes' shot.
I'll probably be wearing these things a lot this winter. And yes, they are the true definition of clodhoppers. But they're warm and that's what counts.
I'm a young wife and mom. I'm in love with my husband and had my life changed when our son was born.
I have a weird mix of dreams, interests, and facets of my personality. My hubby and I dream of having our own farm someday. I am a bit of a crunchy, granola mama. I had a planned home birth when our son was born (and loved it!). I would love to be a doula someday.
And I'm a photographer. I've had an interest in the subject for a long time and finally got a good camera a couple of years ago. People have told me that I have an eye for composition (though you'll have to judge that for yourself) and I've learned what I know through a lot of experimenting and a little reading of books and articles. I'm still very much learning and continually like to expand my comfort zone by taking the camera out of 'Auto' mode and shooting manually. My post-processing is still a work in progress and I learn something new almost every time I am editing. All in all, I think I've got a pretty good handle on this photography thing (all though, there is always room for improvement) and as I continue to develop my own style, I hope you like what you see!
