Day 15

Let me introduce you to Major Sweetness and a couple of the troops from his Honey Bear Army. At the moment, this army is billeted on a shelf in one of my kitchen cabinets. Cute, don't you think?

We were recently blessed to receive a bunch of raw honey from Hubby's farmer bosses. For free. And yes, "bunch" is an actual form of measurement. Hubby loves a cup of hot tea in the morning, especially when he has honey to sweeten it. He is definitely not a coffee man, but he could be an Englishman with his love of good tea. And I, having a streak of health nut in me, am so glad he has honey to use, rather than white sugar. No sugar is healthiest of all, but using honey over refined sugar is also so much better for a body.

And I use it in a lot of baking as well. Particularly my bread. Wonderful, wonderful.

Look at that golden sticky stuff! Clear. Raw. Unrefined. Yeah, now that's the good stuff.
